International Institute of the Samara State Medical University deals with issues of international scientific and educational activities, develops joint international projects and strives for internationalization, whose purpose is to improve the quality of education and science through integration into the international community.

ο Organizes the educational process for international students in the main and further educational programs.
ο Forms the contingent, monitors the academic performance of international students.
ο Prepares contracts for paid educational services and additional agreements for international students.
ο Accepts, processes and stores personal files of students enrolled in the first and subsequent years.
Department of International Cooperation ›
ο Organizes international academic exchanges for students and faculty, scientific, pedagogical and medical staff of the University.
ο Coordinates international activities of the University’s departments.
ο Promotes the University’s participation in international events: international ratings, international accreditation of educational programs, scientific and practical conferences, educational exhibitions, competitions for grants from various international organizations in the field of international research and educational programs of higher and postgraduate education.
ο Promotes expansion of academic and scientific contacts with educational, scientific and other international organizations.
Department of Visa and Migration Support ›
ο Organizes, advises and conducts full support for international students studying at the University, as well as international specialists visiting at the invitation of the University in accordance with the migration legislation of the Russian Federation.
ο Interacts with and participates in meetings with the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Samara Region and government authorities regarding migration legislation.

ο Contributes to the creation of a favorable environment for international students in Russia.
ο Facilitates successful adaptation of international students to the academic, social and cultural environment of the SamSMU, formation of multinational and multi-ethnic tolerance as part of modern youth culture.
